A Plus Backflow Testing, LLC (“A Plus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates aplusbackflow.co and provides annual backflow testing services in North Port and Englewood, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit our website or request our services.
Information we collect
We collect two categories of information.
Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, request a quote, or call us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, property address, and information about your backflow assembly (device type, model, due-date status). We use this information to quote, schedule, perform, and file your annual backflow test.
Information collected automatically. When you visit aplusbackflow.co, our servers and analytics tools automatically log information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and time of visit. We use this aggregated information to understand site traffic patterns and improve content.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Quote and schedule your annual backflow test
- Perform the on-site test and produce a certified test report
- File the certified test report with North Port Utilities or Englewood Water District as required by Florida law
- Send you a copy of the signed test report
- Send a one-year reminder for your next annual test (if you have not opted out)
- Respond to your inquiries
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only with your water utility (as required for compliance filing) and with service providers who help us operate the website and contact you.
SMS / text messaging
If you text our phone number (941) 786-8434 or opt into our text reminder service, your phone number and message content are processed by our carrier. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Data retention
We retain certified test reports and supporting customer records for the period required by Florida Administrative Code 62-555 and our records-retention policy, typically seven years from the date of the test. We retain contact-form submissions for up to three years unless you request earlier deletion.
Your rights

Children
aplusbackflow.co is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
