Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective date: June 7, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of aplusbackflow.co and the services A Plus Backflow Testing, LLC (“A Plus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides. By using our website or scheduling a service with us, you agree to these Terms.

The services A Plus provides

A Plus provides annual certified backflow testing for residential, commercial, and HOA properties in North Port and Englewood, Florida. The service includes the on-site gauge test, a signed certified test report, and same-business-day filing with your local water utility (North Port Utilities or Englewood Water District).

A Plus is testing-only. We do not perform corrective work on failed backflow devices, and we do not install new backflow assemblies. When a device fails the annual test, the corrective work is performed by a separate licensed backflow service contractor of your choosing.

Quoting and scheduling

Quotes are provided by phone at (941) 786-8434 or via our contact form. Pricing varies by device type, size, access, and utility. The number quoted on the phone or by email is the number on the invoice unless the scope of work changes on the day of the visit (uncommon), in which case we notify you before proceeding.

Scheduling is first-come, first-served. We do not guarantee specific time windows. We typically text 30 minutes before arrival on the day of the test.

Payment

Invoices are due on receipt unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept payment by check, electronic transfer, or as otherwise agreed. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees consistent with Florida law.

Compliance disclaimer

We perform certified backflow tests in compliance with Florida Administrative Code 62-555.360(2) and the requirements of the applicable water utility. We do not warrant compliance outcomes beyond the certified test report we sign and file. The property owner is responsible for ensuring the backflow assembly is accessible, in working condition, and that all required prior testing has been completed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, A Plus’s liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the service giving rise to the claim. A Plus is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Charlotte County, Florida.

Website content

The content on aplusbackflow.co is provided for general information purposes and does not constitute legal, engineering, or compliance advice. While we work to keep the content accurate, requirements from Florida DEP, North Port Utilities, and Englewood Water District can change. Always confirm specifics with the relevant utility.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
